HORSES FOR SALE  

We are pleased to offer for sale the following yearlings purchased by Ben and Patrick at the various sales in Newmarket and Doncaster during August, September and October. These yearlings will runs as 2 year olds during the 2010 Flat Season commencing in March.

These yearlings may, of course, be viewed at our new Castle Hill Stables ( still adjacent to Middleham Castle ! ) but we would ask that you contact our office prior to your visit to make suitable arrangements.

A brown filly by Statue Of Liberty, who won 2 races ( and total prize money of £105,475 ) from only 2 starts as a 2 year old, including the Coventry Stakes ( Group 3 ) at Royal Ascot, and also placed second in the Sussex Stakes ( Group 1 ) at Goodwood as a 3 year old. Retired to stud in 2004 and is the sire of the winners of over 150 races and in excess of £1,600,000 prize money. The dam, Miss Megs, won 2 races and was placed once as a 3 year old ( total prize money £14,579 ).

HORSE IS NOW SOLDA bay colt by Avonbridge, who won 7 races ( and total prize money of £334,587 ) at 2 to 5 years, including the Prix De L'Abbaye ( Group 1 ) at Longchamp, as well as Group 2, Group 3 and Listed races, and was also placed second in the Darley July Cup ( Group 1 ) at Newmarket and placed in further Group 2, Group 3 and Listed races, and is the sire of the winners of 12 races and in excess of £80,000 prize money. The dam, Clansinge, won 1 race as a 2 year old, and was placed in 4 further races, and is already the dam of the winner of 1 race.

HORSE IS NOW SOLDA bay filly by Kyllachy, the champion older sprinter in Europe in 2002. Kyllachy won 6 races ( and total prize money of £211,251 ) at 2 to 4 years including the Nunthorpe Stakes ( Group 1 ) at York and further Group 2 and Group 3 races, also placed in Group 2 and Listed races. Retired to stud in 2003 and is the sire of the winners of 316 races and in excess of £3,700,000 prize money.

The dam, Guermantes, won 1 race and was placed once from 5 races as a 3 year old ( total prize money £12.301 ), and is already the dam of 2 winners.

Retired to stud in 2006 and is the sire of the winners of 17 races and in excess of £113,000. The dam, By Arrangement, won 3 races and was placed in 16 races ( total prize money £15,666 ), and is already the dam of 3 winners from 6 runners.

A bay filly by Kheleyf, winner of 3 races ( and total prize money of £77,648 ) at 2 and 3 years including the Jersey Stakes ( Group 3 ) at Ascot, also placed second in the Norfolk Stakes ( Group 3 ) at Ascot and third in the Lennox Stakes ( Group 2 ) at Goodwood. Retired to stud in 2005 and the sire of the winners of 87 races and in excess of £1,000,000 prize money. The dam, Chantilly, was unraced, and is the dam of 1 winner from 4 runners.

Retired to stud in 2003 and is the sire of the winners of 116 races and in excess of £1,100,000 prize money. The dam, Naraina, was unraced, and is the dam of 1 winner from 2 runners.

Retired to stud in 2007 and thus will be a first season sire in 2010. The dam, Portorosa, won 1 race as a 3 year old in France, and is already the dam of 3 winners from 4 runners.
